The heart of the Ombudsman is a docket control system integrated with time recording. Deadlines, meetings/hearings & ticklers are entered from the same screen, and can be assigned to any staff person. The Ombudsman does date arithmetic to calculate deadlines (e.g. type +60 to add 60 days to today's date). You can describe your ticklers or other work using your own abbreviations, which can be automatically inserted from user defined codes. A calendar entry becomes a time entry simply by entering the amount of time spent on the activity. Private notes and priority rating for daily calendar reports are also provided.
